From the moment my grandson (7) opened the package, those little wheels started turning in his head. He studied the pages, asked for a little help, then quickly built his first airplane. This soon was followed by one for his little brother. Immediately, planes were zooming around the room! This book provides the right balance of thought processing and physical activity.

The introduction is terrific, covering basic ideas of aerodynamics. Instructions are helpful and folding planes that are provided in the book is easy to do for an adult. May not be age appropriate for a 6-year old unless helped by an adult for proper folding. Flying the planes was fun and a big hit. The book is flimsy and came apart after a few pages were torn out, but that is a minor concern in what is otherwise lots of fun with my grandson.

Loved how the book was laid out, the colorful paper to make the airplanes, and the fun runway for the planes.

I had this paper airplane book as a kid (I am now 29) and I remember absolutely loving it. I am now a soon-to-be stepfather to a six year-old boy, and I know that he is going to love it as well. It is a great thing that in this age of technology, we can still have fun with such simple toys and games. Looking forward to digging into this book again with my little guy!

Both my son and his two boys like to put things together. So I've sent the grandsons items that don't need a battery and that are fun to assemble from scratch. They started to make airplanes right after opening the package. DaVinci got started just this way! Just saying.

Bought this for our 5 yr old grandson knowing he and his dad would enjoy this activity together. High quality paper and easy to follow directions. He lives out of state and usually has a plane fly down from the upstairs loft at least once every visit to him. The planes are personal to him and he enjoys using his mind and hands to create.

Sent this to my sister's grandson, as I don't have any grandchildren of my own. That is why I love shopping at Fat Brain. They always have the age group that it's best for! Luke has had so much fun with this book! Him and his dad work on it together. He really liked the planes with all of their color in the back of the book. He is soon to be 9 years old.

It is a birthday present. So my grandson hasn't seen it yet. But my husband loves it!

I bought this for my 9 yr. old grandson. He loves it. He will probably have all the planes flying soon. I will probably get him another one for his birthday in April.

Well created for the paper airplane aficionado. I'm helping my 9 year old grandson read and recreate the planes. Great markings to follow the folding technique.

Bought as a gift for our god son who loves video games. Until he got this book. Loves to sit, with us, to figure out the different planes. I have always loved Fat Brain Toys and have referred many other grandparents, aunts and uncles, who want to get their kids back to hands on toys!!! Thanks!!!!

Returned the item because the description of the product as listed and then purchased did not meet our expectations for the age group of the child.

My 7-year-old has been trying to master the best airplane design and challenging anyone who will play, so when I saw this book I had to buy it for him. It has been so much fun for the whole family! He loves trying out all the new designs and the colors and artwork are great.
