A 4 month child is playing with this constantly. She is learning to grasp amend hold as well as put it in her mouth. I bought one for another baby a couple of years ago and she loved it as well.

The baby lays with this toy by chewing on it and holding its many cords. He's been attracted to it since he began using his fingers to grab. It's safe and for babies beginning to teeth it's perfectly safe. This one was purchased as a gift I know it will be a favorite baby toy

This was a birthday gift for my 1 year old grandson. The Winkel proved to be a great gift for him. Easy for him to hold and shake and best of all he liked chewing on it.

Not only did I purchase this for my own child, but for several family members and friends with infants. I love that it is skinny enough for my 4 month old to hold it and light enough to get it to her mouth. This is one of her favorite toys. I highly recommend this for infants!

This toy is great for newborns! It's colorful and its easy for them to grip onto! We love it!

This is for a two month old girl. I like the idea of using it for teething by putting it in the freezer. As she grows it will be perfect for her tiny fingers to grip!

The Winkel was a gift given to a three month old child. As soon as the toy was out of the box, she grabbed it with both hands!

The minute my 6 month old saw it, he grabbed it and put it directly in his mouth. He loves to chew on the bands that wrap around the square in the middle. Just be aware, there may be a little puddle of drool underneath the toy when your baby's done with it. I wish maybe the middle lit up or made more noise (it's a rattle), but other than that, it's one of my little guy's favorites!

This is a very engaging toy. It easily gets the eye of my five-month-old who immediately reaches for it, grabs it and start to play with it.
