"The design and contents are fantastic! It looks like it is colorful and "fun" to play with but serves as an educational purpose. It is so great ordered a 2nd set for another child as a gift. Only issue was the clip on inside of door flap was broken and left a sharp edge that could hurt someone. "I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter who is starting Kindergarten this fall, and my 3 year old son. Both were very excited to play with the Inchimals, and both were able to quickly grasp the concept of how to use them without too much explanation. I like that each piece also has inch markings along the side, so my daughter was able to measure other toys. "This is a great easel and great value for the money. The chalk was broken when it arrived. The paintbrushes are a bit small, so we bought some larger ones and now have one for each color. It would also be nice if there was a cap on the paint cups for easier storage. Otherwise, she has loved drawing with dry erase markers and playing with the magnets. The paper for drawing and painting is easy to secure and provides many different options for hours of play."

"My son loves any toy with a ball so enjoys watching the balls in action as they spin around. I would recommend to any child 18 months and up. The only downside is that the unit is a little flimsy. My child is 13 months old and if he leans while putting a ball into the unit, it falls over. Wish each piece snapped together versus having to line it up. On a positive note, I love a toy without batteries!"

"My daughter is 21 mo old. She LOVES puzzles. She already has several of the kind with the pegs where it is just one picture or shape you drop in to place and she seemed to be getting bored with them. So I bought this. And she LOVES it. I like how the puzzles in this set are different levels of difficult. The ice cream one is easier than the cotton candy one for example. The puzzles are super cute too. My daughter seems to really enjoy the fact that the puzzles look like treats as well."

"I purchased this toy for my niece's first birthday. She is drawn to it and you can see the wheels in her brain turning as she tries to figure out the "cause and effect" part of the toy. So far, she's still confused by it, but that only keeps her interest. She'll figure it out one of these days, and then I think she'll continue playing with it because she knows how it works. The toy is colorful, well-constructed, and isn't too loud--always an important consideration! ;-)"

"We gave these as a birthday gift to our one year old boy/girl twin grandchildren. The more rounded shapes are easier to manipulate than traditional blocks. While they are fun to stack, the twins also enjoy rolling them around and use them for teething. Their 3 year old brother enjoys stacking them in different configurations, discovering about weight and balance. It is fun for him to see how far he can tip the tower without making it fall. These look and feel great too. "

"This toy is the best thing I have ever bought from Fat Brain Toys! I bought the egg stackers for my 15 month old granddaughter to play with when I babysit for her. She loves these! They are colorful and easy to pick up. She sorts them and stacks them and the little "chickies" inside the eggs are a nice little surprise. In fact my 3 yr old, 5 yr old and 6 yr old grandchildren have all played with it as well. "The cups are very durable and colorful. They are light and easy for my 15 month granddaughter to grab. She even tried drinking water from them. She has had them on the patio sliders, microwave, dishwasher and their table. My 3 year old grandson also plays with them if she isn't hogging them all. Good to use for color identification too! The bottom sticks well to many surfaces. The video shows the girl using the wide part of the cup to stick, but it doesn't stick that well on surfaces."

"My child actually hasn't played with the toy yet since it's a birthday present and his birthday isn't for a couple of weeks yet. My hope is the toy will help him with his development and fine motor skills. He is a preemie baby who has some developmental delays due to this. "This toy was very creative and intriguing to me in its appearance. The shape is unique and the bright primary colors get your attention. The toy looks exactly as pictured. What you cannot see or rather experience from a picture is how soft the material of the toy pieces are. They are incredibly soft! Perfect for babies and young toddlers. The unique shape encourages thoughtful play that's a little different from the average square building block like toy piece sets. I thought it was odd that this toy is sold in a 3 piece set or the larger 9 piece set. What can you do with 3 pieces? So I opted for the 9 piece toy set. Some might consider it pricey but when you are a grandparent you are able to splurge from time to time. With multiple children potentially playing with the toy, I can justify the purchase. It is of high quality, well made toy."

"This set is so delightful! I have been waiting a long to press these beautiful blue and soothing grey dimpl bubbles through their ideal-sized rounded billow frame. I wasn't expecting to love the bright as much as I do. The entire outer ring is soft, flexible silicone so it feels great. I love the size of the dimpls, and popping them is so satisfying! All of the cheery dimpls are smooth on both sides, except for one that carries the fat brain logo on one side. The scalloped edge is adorable too. The center mirror can work it's way out with certain intentional movements (I kind of prefer it with the empty circle), but young babies and toddlers are not likely to take it apart. Just mentioning that to make you aware of that potential. Buy it anyway. And enjoy playtime together! I adore this set! My favorite Dimpls yet. "It's the perfect size for my one-year old nephew and easy for him to get on and keep his balance. He can turn pretty well in the bike and doesn't fall off.
