Fat Brain is both a retailer and manufacturer of toys and games. Through the website you are currently looking at we sell thousands of items from two sources. The first source is external – we curate the best toys, games and puzzles from toy manufacturers large and small. These are completed products and we are not involved in their development or evolution. The second source is internal. Fat Brain Toy Co. is the product development arm of Fat Brain Toys, in which we design, develop, and manufacture our own award-winning toys, games, and brainteasers. Many are internally created but others are licensed from talented toy and game inventors throughout the world.

Retail Distribution with Fat Brain Toys

We literally travel all over the world looking for the very best toys and games. If you think you have a toy or game that is suitable for our product catalog, we welcome the opportunity to review it for possible inclusion.

You are ready for retail distribution if:

You have a completed, packaged toy or game.
It has met all of the applicable safety standards for distribution in the United States.
You have inventory in a stateside warehouse ready to ship to us!

Please Note! We are VERY choosy about the products that we decide to carry! The best way to understand our product focus is to study our website. You'll notice it's largely devoid of highly-licensed, violent, mass-oriented products. If you feel your product(s) are relevant, we'd love to give them further consideration. Here's how:

If we like what we see and decide to add your item to our assortment, we'll issue an opening purchase order with additional details about our purchasing process. If your product is not chosen, we'll do our best to notify you of our decision, but there may be a delay depending upon the time of year and large number of submissions reviewed.

Sorry, but product samples cannot be returned. Upon completion of our review, all samples are donated to local charities.

Did you know that there is a worldwide community of professional toy and game inventors? These are folks who literally design and develop toy and game concepts for a living, all day long!

Most of our licensed concepts come from this community. Before submitting any product here we recommend getting involved with one or both of the best toy-inventor focused organizations that are out there: People of Play (Chicago) and MOJO Nation (London).

You are ready to submit product for license consideration if:

You have a fresh, innovative toy, game or puzzle concept and a working prototype.
You have a non-confidential, publicly shareable single-page PDF sell-sheet or (ideally) a sub 1-minute sizzle video.
You are looking for outside help to design, develop and distribute your concept in exchange for an inventor royalty.
