Sturdy Birdy: The Game of Perfect Balance

Fun. Easy to follow. Great for all ages.

We have 5 and 8 year old girls who couldn't be more different in terms of physical engagement with the world (one if very tactile and physical, the other lives in her inner world more frequently). Both loved the game and immediately took to it. Simple game that involves balance and some problem solving and hints at yoga - which we particularly enjoyed. And the pigeon's name is Reggie and he's, well, a pigeon. So nothing overwrought here. Highly recommended.

We accidentally gave this toy away when we thought they were old enough, only to be met with repeated messages of disappointment over the years. We decided to end the relentless shaming this year and buy it again for our now 22-year old, who was ecstatic to receive it. Needless to say, we all had to immediately play it.

The 5-year-old recipient of this gift -- and her family -- love Sturdy Birdy! Her parents report that it is a wonderfully easy, engaging game for everyone, that brings non-stop giggles.

Great fun for our kids and their friends. We are using a shorter station set-up for our 5 year old group. They have fun attempting the physical challenges, however, with a group of 4 it is difficult to maintain their attention for 12 stations. Quick modification, with a desert prize at the end of the game did the trick. Thank you!

As a family child care provider I have found this game to be adaptable and fun for children 18 months - 7yrs. The picture cards and bean bags included make it easy for the kids to understand which poses and the number dice helps build number recognition and counting skills! Sturdy Birdy is asked for several times each week and will be a wonderful resource this winter when we cannot get outdoors!

We love this! We really enjoy the versatility of the game. A quick game, a fun intro to yoga poses, an exercise of following simple instructions. Many ways to make memories and bring out some giggles.

It wasn't as fun as it looked. Poses were not very different. Played for my Five-year-old granddaughter on her birthday and probably will never get it back out of the box.

This has been played exactly 3 times since Xmas, and only once by the recipient (my son). I was hoping that this game would help improve his balance (he has ASD), but he hasn't been interested in it. I played with my nieces and liked the concept but found that many of the positions were very similar. The girls seemed to like it even though I think it was a bit young for them (ages 8 & 10).

My niece and nephew love this game! They keep cracking themselves up trying to balance and then falling over. They keep requesting to play it.

Great game, especially for a kiddo that needs to continue to build balance skillls. Easy instructions, not too complicated.

My kiddos loved this game. They are ages 6 and 4. We had a ton of laughs and being goofy.

Great fun for my active 4 yr old grandaughter and family. She loves yoga and balancing and competes with her older brother.

Difficult to keep cards in their holders. We played with half of the cards at a time. Great for coordination and balance. My 5 year old granddaughter is quite good at playing and enjoys the game.

We received this for a four year old birthday. The four year old, the seven year old, and the parents, and the watching baby, all enjoyed the game. Good for counting, good for balancing, good for cheering each other on.

Sturdy Birds is fun and easy for my grandsons who are 3 and 7 years old. We play it with them and the balance gets trickier as we get older! It's a great family game for all ages.

My first time ordering and was absolutely delighted with every one of the toys I purchased for Christmas!! I kids/families were delighted too! I'll know where to find/purchase the good stuff and have also passed on 'Fat Brain" t0o several others!

We purchased this game to help our 7 year old with his balance and coordination. It has been a fun way to work on these skills, and he enjoys having the whole family play. It is adaptable to different ability/age levels.
