Honestly, I think I like the stand more because I can display his name puzzle for him and it's really the name puzzle that he can't stop playing with. So displaying it may have something to do with that.

answers depend on age of child. we gave to a 10 month old who has taken it apart but loses interest quickly. I am sure this will grow on her over time especially when she learns her alphabet. in the meantime the display aspect is great - all who saw commented how unique the gift is and where did we get it. doug valenski

Nice, wooden stand for the personalized name puzzle. The child's name is on display and she can enjoy looking at her completed puzzle when she is not actually playing with it. Having the stand to display the puzzle really really enhances it.

This was a gift and everyone thought it was the greatest gift ever! The parents were especially pleased that it was wood.

It's not a toy so it's not played with but it holds the name plate that I purchased for my daughter. This was a nameplate I had made that is also a busy board so it's larger than the one these are made for but they still hold it well for display when it's not in use.

It does the job of holding a name puzzle or similar items, but the skinny design makes it easy to knock the puzzle over if the table shakes or a door slams. If this was twice the width it would get 5 stars.

We purchased a name puzzle for my Grandson. He is now 2 1/2 and has a new brother due soon. So I purchased a puzzle for our second Grandson too. Then saw the stands and ordered two of them, so they can play with the puzzles but also put on their bookshelves to decorate their rooms. Such a great idea and they work well. Was really glad to see these stands offered. They are very nicely cut out of wood and go well with the wooden name puzzles.

This stand has allowed me to display my children's name puzzles and made them fun decor in our playroom. My toddler certainly won't be able to prop the name puzzle on the stand on her own, though.
