My Treasure Keeper Safe & Bank

My five year old granddaughter is totally enthralled with the Treasure Keeper Safe & Bank. She was incredibly excited when she first opened it, picked it up first thing the next morning and took it into her parents' bedroom to show it to them and has been very politely talking all the adults around her out of change for the bank. The locking mechanism is easy for a child to use and the size is perfect for those little treasures that children like to collect. Very highly recommended!!

My 8 year old great granddaughter loves this. She immediately began collecting the "treasures" she wanted to keep safe from her little brother. Her only problem with it: "It's not big enough! "

My 6-year old daughter loved this gift for her birthday. She has been carrying it with her everywhere! Great purchase!

My daughter uses it as a way of putting her tiny personal belongings in there.

I loved the idea, as she has siblings and can stash stuff in the safe. However, the lock came broken. We were able to put it back together, but it didn't stay together for long. I'm sorry it was not better made.

The key doesn't work, my kid turned the dial the other way "too many" times and it broke. I had to put it back together. This toy is incredibly cheap and poorly made. I had low expectations but I assumed the key would at least work. My kid was sad about this. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

unfortunately, my neoconservative does not like it. possibly with time she will use it, but for now will not touch it.

The inside is very small. The door is very flimsy. The dial lock is not a real lock. Very disappointed.

Granddaughter loved this for her 9th birthday. Thrilled is an understatement. She started playing with it immediately. Her little brother also enamored with it and managed to pull off the "combination" lock. Fortunately. Our son had set aside one of the keys and opened the safe to retrieve the screw left inside that held the "combination" onto the outside. So it came apart too easily, but was fixed and hopefully it will hold.

I sent this off to my niece for her 6 year birthday party. We heard a positive report! All her treasures are safely stashed inside.

My 6 year old granddaughter does not treat "My Treasure Keeper Safe & Bank" as a toy. It is a special place where she keeps her money and favorite things out of reach of her siblings. It is not large, but it safely keeps small items out of reach of very young cousins who frequently visit and gives her a sense of privacy for keeping her "secrets." (The gift was approved by her parents.)

Perfect little gift for my 7 yr.old grdaughters birthday.It is special because it can be used as a bank or to stash small treasures. She likes the easy one number combination to open it,but especially likes the key that allows only her to open it and then lock it away for safe keeping.

Purchased two for two birthday girls. They were tickled to pieces to have a "personal" little treasure keeper. So glad we chose these.

This functions as you think it would for a child's safe. Not very secure unless using the key, but good for little ones to keep "valuables" in a special place.

I bought this for our granddaughter and there isn't a key for the key lock.

I used to have a really solid number that was similar to this when I was a kid. Coin slot in the top, red dial, the whole deal. My grandfather purchased it for me as a gift. That's what I had in mind when I bought one of these for each of my 3 kiddos. Boy, was I disappointed. Mine was probably purchased in the 1990-1995 range so it's not surprising that it was so much sturdier/held up so much better than these. When my kids opened these for Christmas, I noticed right away that they just weren't as solid as I was hoping. They're painted nicely (except where it is stickers) and the concept is still great. I also like that there is a removable shelf type thing that comes with them. That's a great addition. The keys + combination concept is a bit tricky for little kids. They didn't understand that if they lock it using the key and combination and then lose the key, the combination alone won't open it. We're proceeding with caution/trying to help make sure they don't lose the key.
