The instructions were easy for an 8 year old to read and follow on own. The materials were high quality, especially the stones. However, packaging could be better. The plaster was in a plastic bag that ripped in the box so when we opened it there was plaster powder everywhere. Also, there does not seem to be enough of the white color stones to make the full border if you follow the full pattern of the printed paper.
