Overall good product. The only thing I don't like is that the corners on the pieces are very sharp. It would be good to make corners a little round for better safety.

One and a half year old boy and three year old girl both love it. Both are foster to adopt kids my son and his wife are fostering. The kids have had some trauma at an early age. They both loved playing with the train. Thank you.

We gave this as a gift to our 14 month old grandson. He immediately started playing with it. Really enjoys taking all the blocks off the trains. He doesn't have the dexterity to place them back on the little pole, but will grow into that. Construction is quality. Colors are bright and attractive. A very good choice!

My grandson loves this train! It combines his love for building with his imagination for play! He love to have Grandma help him build it in different ways, then he runs it off of tables and other things, and laughs! I like this toy because it is very bright and fun to play with-even for an old granny like me! My grandson is 39 months old and really imaginative!

My 20-month-old God-Son loves this train! I think it is the perfect combination of fun and challenge as he loads the carts up with different shapes. We love wooden toys rather than plastic (landfills !!) and it is a durable, colorful toy that has kept him engaged. The variety of block shapes and colors has made it fun for him to arrange and rearrange in all sorts of ways. I highly recommend this toy!

We bought this toy for the 10 month old son of a colleague. She says her son loves vehicles and is enjoying this greatly.

I looked at several trains on the website before I chose Learning Locomotive. I decided on this one because it didn't have a track. I thought for the age of my granddaughter (19 months) that this "choo choo" as she calls it would allow the best learning experience. She can build her train on a table or the floor and move it along without the frustration of trying to keep it on a track. When she is a bit older she would probably like a train on a track. I also liked this train because it allows for the chid to create their train in many different ways - a different train every time! At 19 months my granddaughter could easily manage getting the blocks onto the train car pegs - except the 'diagonal' blocks were still difficult for her to line up on the pegs. So she would just set those on top of another block! I also loved the durability of the wooden pieces. I had previously purchased the TimberBlocks wooden100 piece set and was very happy with the quality - and these Learning Lo

My grandson is only 1 and 1/2 years old. He likes to drag the train around but doesn't know how yet to rearrange the colored blocks. He really likes the alphabet toy though. You really never can figure out what children will or will not be drawn to. I am sure I will be ordering from Fat Brain Toys in the future.
