I ended up returning the gift . it is sweet and adorable looking but I did not care at all for the music and didn't want to subject others to it. Was disappointed.

What a winner! For the kid....parents MIGHT get a little tired of the sounds as this is most definitely a "noisy" toy. But I mean, it's all worth it for the joy on the kids face, right?! Super simple to interact with, so motor skills don't have to be on point, a kid can just accidentally hit parts and since it is so flexible it will still react. Doesn't need hard pressure to use either, so this isn't like pushing buttons to get the toy to make sounds. Great for 1 yearish old kids.

I bought two of these for 2 grandsons close in age. Both are about 7-8 months old. This is probably one of the best baby drum toys out there. It's lightweight. The inner spring framing makes it EASY for baby to hit and not just hear a beat or animal sound but FEEL it too. If you're a musician or musical family, you'll understand. I watched both baby boys touch, hit, grab, tap, shake the cymbals (the 2 anntennae-like bars on the sides). Oh, the look in their eyes when they hear the cymbal sounds!! The simple lightweight structure of this toy drum makes it easy for baby to play with, which holds their interest. One grandson has a 2.5 year old brother who ALSO enjoyed playing with this drum. There's a simple "jazzy" track that plays in background which my older toddler was thrilled to try and play beats too! He preferred to use chopsticks as drumsticks instead of using his hands. This gift was for my grand son's 1st birthday. He's out-of-state, but saw him exploring this new toy in many videos. It offers seemingly endless combinations of sounds! It's a super, unlimited toy!

I was excited to buy this product because I have been looking for a product for my baby to practice slapping. Unfortunately, the technology aspect wasn't matching up with the hits and on the farm animal function (which had really annoying sounds) the cow was defective and kept repeating. Considering the amazing quality of products you have, I don't feel this one measured up and returned it.
