Kids First Level 1 - Aircraft Engineer

Product Description

Are all airplanes created equal?

Do all aircraft fly as quickly? Can they all take off from a runway of the same length? Can they all fly without fuel?

Read the story of the Omega family as they build 10 aircraft on their vacation. Build along with them! The storybook contains picture instructions for building all 10 aircraft: from hang gliders to seaplanes, learn the different strengths and weaknesses of different airplane styles.

Would you think a triplane is faster than a biplane? Can a helicopter or a seaplane take off from a smaller runway?

Build and discover!

The chunky build pieces are easy to handle and require no tools to snap together. The biggest pieces are 8.5 x 1.5 x .75 inches, and the smallest pieces are .75 inches squared. Rebuild each plane to play along with the story.

The planes are great for beginning engineers as young as three because they require no moving parts, motors, batteries, or electrical know-how. The instruction book is also easy to follow, and contains a fun story!

Build a prop plane, hang glider, space plane, biplane, supersonic jet, passenger jet, solar glider, seaplane, triplane, and helicopter!

Strengthen your building skills while learning beginning engineering! Then build your favorite aircraft over and over!

So join Ty and Karlie and their robot buddy Huxley for an aviation adventure in engineering!

Toy was for my grand son who is 4 years old, though it was rated for his age, he had trouble understanding the graphics for assembling the object he chose. Even my adult daughter had issue with the graphic directions so I do not think it was appropriately rated. Also the parts were very difficult to put together for an adult let alone a child. Maybe after time they wear down but by then interest is lost in the toy.

My five-year old grandson likes this toy. It is well made and creative. The only drawback is that he needs an adult to help him with some of the directions. I believe over time, he'll play more independently with this toy. It is good though to have adult interaction as he explores the toy.

The child wants to play with this toy very frequently. He enjoys building the various aircraft and is always excited to try another type. The excitement was joyous when he opened the package and realized what he had just received. His mother is enjoying as well.

We got it for my four year old and he liked it but my six year old really loved it. Well made and I would buy it again.

Bought it for 3yr old grandson as he loves to build things. With the help of my 12yr old grandson they created their own aircraft & the 3yr old happily played with it, so joy in making it & pleasure of end result. The pieces can be creatively put together easily or instructions can be followed with help.

It was a birthday gift for my 4year old grandson. He and his father enjoy making models together so they immediately made a plane which he started playing with. I like the fact that you can take them apart and do it again. I am sure they will have quality time together with their favorite hobby. Once he has done with help he will be off to the races by himself.

The toy is well made and versatile. Younger children will need adult assistance. The instruction manual could use some work. The colors in the manual do not match toy well. The instructions should start with a list of all parts needed for that project. Also would be nice to be able to order individual pieces if lost or chewed by a dog.

My 4 year old enjoys playing with the pieces and building whatever he wants. The instructions to build the planes are too difficult for that age, so a parent will need to build any of the models.

Age given was appropriate and engaged my grandson from the moment he opened it.

    Excellent quality

A little difficult for a new 4 year old to build on his own...interested in doing so - so I'm guessing he'll have it down by the end of this year.

Lots of fun and great quality
