John Deere Preschool Build-A-Johnny Tractor

The drill was an immediate hit with our 2 yr old grandson. He figured out how to take off wheels all by himself. The tractor is a great toy.

This was a gift for my nephew and this is the exact response I received from his momma: I don't have words to explain how perfect this gift is for him! He is obsessed with figuring out how things work and screwing this on and off. I've never seen him play with one toy non-stop as long as he has been with this. Only problem is that im sure we will go through batteries like crazy �

Only issue is that the pieces fall off while trying to just play with the tractor such as pushing it around, consistently having to put the pieces back together.

He's only two and has built and rebuilt it multiple times. It's great for hand eye coordination and he loves it!

Not only did Kian adore it, but his 3 year old brother couldn't stop playing with it. He awoke in the morning and ran downstairs to play and chose that rather than watching his favorite morning show.

This is such a great learning tool.

This was a tremendous hit for a 2 year old boy. He's gone around "fixing" things with the drill by itself, has endlessly taken the wheels and bolts on and off, and also played with the assembled tractor as a complete toy. He makes up stories about what has broken and why. Months later, he has additional trucks to play with, but he still comes back to this one. It's very sturdy and still looks good as new.

I bought this for my great nephew's 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it!

Very helpful for developing both fine and gross motor skills. Also helps with an early understanding of mechanics. Truly well designed and useful as well as being enormously entertaining.

My grandson is the son of a carpenter and at 20 months old he watches his daddy work and wanted to play with his drill. This little drill is getting a lot of use and the amount of concentration that he has on taking the wheels off and figuring out how to reverse the drill and put them back on has been incredible for his age level. This was definitely a great purchase and I will be looking at other toys from Fat Brain.

This is really cute. My 2 year old loves it. He's pretty good at doing it nearly independently! Great for toddlers.

Tough and authentic looking! I bought it for my grandson's 2nd birthday and he plays with it often and for long periods if time. He learned the difference between a flathead and Phillips head screwdriver within the first 30 minutes of play. A great toy!

Ideal for the toddler that loves tractors and is interested in tools!

My baby boy is 1.5 years old and I ended up getting this tractor instead of one that lights up because it was not in stock. I am really happy with it, in fact. He gets pretty curious every time he approaches it because I showed him a few times what he can do. While he is too young I think he is getting the hang of it and it is a wonderful investment!

Very nice toy, high quality materials and very sturdy. Attracted the immediate attention of 3 year old female, altho not her gift, and 18 month male, his gift. He needs help holding the drill, unlike as pictured, and as the wheels come off entirely, I can foresee lost parts. However they are large enough not to be a choking hazard. He is fascinated by trucks and I think he will be playing with this for a while, so successful gift.

I purchased the Build-a-Johnny Tractor as a Christmas gift for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who loves tractors and loves playing with "tools". It keeps him quite entertained and he is thrilled by actually being able to screw and unscrew the bolts to assemble the tractor rather than just pretending. He has only had it a few days, so I can't report on the durability of it yet, but the entertainment value is high.
