Hideaway Hangout Nook

The Hideaway Nook is awesome! It gives a child a space where they can go to chill out, to read or "just to take a break." Our grandson loves it, thank you!!!

This seemed like a fun idea when I got it. It comes with great mounting hardware, but no helpful info on how to use it. I used an existing hanger outside that I'm using for a circle swing. It's a pain in the butt to assemble, and instructions are vague. The inflatable pad had a leak, and I've requested a new one. For now I have a temporary patch, but my kid just hasn't been interested. When I hung it the other day, the zipper started to bust open at the far end. If given a choice again, I'd get a simple hammock chair. This just seems like too much trouble.

Very sturdy, took minutes to put together! My children are a little on the rough side with their toys and it is holding up admirably so far.

Are you kidding? This is my grandsons absolutely favorite place to be, in his "nook". He looks at books, plays on his iPad, eats his snack, all inside his private nook with lights. Little brother is kept at bay unless invited in so it gives him his "space". One of the best presents I ever bought for a grandchild!!

Gift for 5 year-old granddaughter's birthday, as an addition to our playroom. Positive feedback is that she loves it and runs to it first thing. She invites her younger brother inside with her to play. She can imagine all sorts of adventures with this swinging, "flying" tent. Negative feedback is that the hanging hardware did not work for our installation and had no instructions whatsoever. We ended up going with a very large screw eye-bolt instead. Would purchase again.

I gave this to my 9-year old son for a Christmas and it was a hit! Very high quality and easy enough to set up. While it is chilly where we live, we have set it up in the basement and my son hasn't left it for very long. We can't wait for warmer weather and have it hang from a tree in the backyard.

Seems very sturdy. Took a bit of time to assemble but very impressed with its construction. Perhaps it'd be nice to have a way to keep rain from getting into the windows?

Nice product. Our five-year old boy enjoys hanging in the Hideout from time to time at home. Whether reading, relaxing or just enjoying his own space, the Hideout provides a suitable venue. We use it outside and try to bring it inside and out of the weather/elements as often as possible...sun and water destroy any material over a relatively short period of time. We plan on taking the Hideout with us to parks and camping this coming Spring/Summer, but the jury is still out as to true portability. Overall, the product seems to be a quality build and was fairly easy to setup. Happy here.
