GeoMagic Mosaics

I really like the open-ended nature of these tiles, and my 4 year old has gotten creative in what she makes using them. If you're thinking about buying them, don't skim, go for the higher number of tiles because you will regret getting a smaller number (you will just have to watch instead of joining in on making designs).

The only issue is that the magnet could be a little stronger. The kids tend to knock them out of place after placing them. Other than that the kids love them.

Our grand-niece LOVES it - she just turned 4 yrs old. The whole family is involved making new patterns & designs.

I realized after I bought it and was playing with the blocks with 2 of my kids-I may have bought it partially for myself, partially for them! We love them and the patterns are easy for kids of all ages (4+) to create.

Never disappointed with Fat Brains quality toys. Unique and age appropriate challenge for developing hands and minds. Great quality and vibrantly colored. We love supporting family owned businesses.

We got it as a gift for our 3 y.o. granddaughter. When she opened it her and our son who's the same age got captivated by it right away and then us and her parents joined in and sat around the table making designs, helping the kids and making our own having great family fun. The pieces are quality, feel great in your hands, colors are impressively bright and the designs have a striking resemblance to collidoscope patterns. The pieces fit together wonderfully and it's intuitive and easy to make endless new designs. The designs in the book are simple enough for a 3 y.o. to follow and make on their own. The whole family young and old loved the mosaic. Right away we saw the individuality in our son's and granddaughter's creative styles. She was exceptionally good at making balanced flower-like disigns. Whereas our son took the 3D approach and started stacking blocks to make what looked like a city with each building having unique architecture. The only improvement I'd suggest would be

Love the variety and size of the brightly-colored wooden pieces, but unfortunately they are too slick and slide too easily when trying to put them together.

Nice size pieces for little hands, very colorful and numerous shapes!

I love these pieces, they have a good shiny vibrant surface. They are smooth & well fitted to the other pieces. Instruction booklet & sturdy container - another good feature. These are used in Centers at an elementary class & they are very popular.

I am the remote Grandma, so I really don't get to see the child play with it very much. I just know she really liked it when she go it.

The pieces are sturdy and easy to grasp and work with. I like the assortment of pieces. The possibilities are endless!

I got this for my youngest grandson, but all 3 like playing with it. Ages 8, 7, and 4.

Simple concept with a good finish and accuracy of fit provide hours of interest for my son to create whatever he desires - and he so he does.

I am a Play Therapist and I purchased the GeoMagic Mosaics to use for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy where I teach parents to play and interact positively with their children. It is a great creative, collaborative activity! The kids are so proud of themselves when they make a unique design. The pieces are colorful and durable.

These mosaic blocks have opened up a lot of imaginative and creative time for my young child. She likes them so much we have purchased multiple sets, including one to keep at the grandparent's house, because it is such a reliable hit with her that keeps her entertained with self-directed play. They can be used for making designs or as very unique blocks for building.

Nice, vibrant pieces and plentiful too. Back here to buy another!

This toy is used at the pre-school that my grandchild attends. He enjoys it at school, so I purchased one for his birthday to play with at home.

Watched soon to be 3 year old granddaughter open present... very excited... able to name all the shapes.. did a mosaic on her fathers head!!! She carried rainbow around until bedtime. very creative toy.

This was purchased as a gift for a 4 year old girl. All members of the family had a great time playing with the pieces. So colorful. Hours went by before we even knew it. Highly recommend.
