My granddaughter is two years old and I have her here three times weekly. I think she's enjoy it more in a few months. She doesn't count with it yet.

My grandson and his brother were instantly drawn to the toy and play with it often.

Our granddaughter will be two years old in a few days, and this was our birthday gift to her. She plays with it just as we had hoped, and especially likes it if we play with her. We can envision her enjoying it for at least a year. As others had mentioned, we wish there was a little more space between the dowels. We also wish the holes in the rings were a tiny bit later. This is a wooden toy and if anything expands during the summer months, that will become a problem. But... Maybe that won't happen. If it does, I'll write again.

This was a gift for a 2y/o birthday. I love how it can truly be enjoyed for years and grow with a child. It can be used for so much learning, including math! We love every toy we've gotten from Fat Brain Toys, so it's always the first place I look for children's gifts

This item will be used over time as the child develops. Our 2 1/2 year old grandson was immediately interested in this item, and played with it several times the first day he got. Two comments on this item: -2 of the 10 pegs had rough edges on top and we needed to sand them to ensure they were safe. -Increase the spacing between pegs. When all round blocks on on pegs, there's very little room to pull off the blocks.

I think this would be great for a child older than 2 years of age. My little one only pulls the coins off and disperses them everywhere. I do think she will play with it appropriately as she gets older but for now, she is having fun spreading the pieces in all directions.

Gave this as a gift for my 2 year old niece. She loves it! It is so versatile. Now she uses it for making patterns, but later she can use it for counting and even later for learning addition and subtraction.

The 3 and 4 do not match up with the colors of the stacking items. I have to repaint the numbers to match As a former math teacher, I think it's excellent toy and I use as an activity with my granddaughter. I recommend it for all toddlers!

I bought this toy for an 18 month old I am watching. Shes learning her colors and shes attracted to the bright colors and she likes separating colors and than she likes mixing up the colors. I have her 2 to 3 days a week and she spends a good chunk of her time with this toy. There other toys from fat brain that I'm interested in adding to her toy bin. I also ordered the magnetic numbers. I love the fact that the game in their own storage box and I like that the whole letter is magnetized. I'm so happy I found fat brain and I love supporting small businesses. Thank you

My son is only two but I can see that this toy will really grow with him. For now he loves to dump the rings off of the posts (a very big satisfying crash), putting the numbers back in their tray (not in order yet) and having them read to him, and of course the stacking of the rings is a good fine motor challenge. There are so many elements that make this a great toy to learn with—numbers, counting, color sorting—and it's so pretty and appealing to touch and handle. All solid wood, we'll made pieces. A lovely toy!

We love this toy! Our biggest suggestions is that the paint color on the numbers and the stacking rings matched better. There has been some confusion with our 2 1/2 year old because the color doesn't match and this helps him understand at his age where they may go.

The only complaint I have about this toy is that the number one is black but the piece that goes with it is white. I work with children on the Autism spectrum and this does not make sense to them. I think I will paint the corresponding piece black. All the other color numbers and pieces match, so kids look for the black piece and get frustrated when they cannot find it.
