I bought this utensil set for my 2 year old grandson. When he opened it, his 4 and 5 year old brothers both wanted them. Fortunately, I knew this would happen so I had bought 3 sets! They've only had them for a few days but they use the fork and spoon every meal! I'm not sure how much use the "front loader" will get but they like to play with it. The quality seems really good. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The gift was for a 2 year old, and his 3 year old brother wanted a set as well! He uses the set every meal and plays with it in between. A great gift!!

Have a 15mo & 19mo old grandson. The 15mo old had a construction themed 1st birthday party. I ran across this while browsing the site and since he's just learning to use eating utensils, I thought it'd be perfect for him. The fork is not as pointed as a regular one, but he can still poke it into most of the food items he's eating and the blunt prongs are safer for him. It's also good that wheels actually turn, cause even at 15mos. this kid will let you know his dissatisfaction. My 19mo old likes everything w/wheels(cars, trucks, farm or construction equipment, wagons, pull along toys, etc.). Although the "construction toy" is somewhat distracting, the concept makes meal time more fun for them, and the large handles make it easier for them to manipulate than regular silverware. Totally satisfied with this item.

My 9 rating is based on my grandsons love of trucks and tractors, not sure a child with out that would love them as much.

Bought for my grandchildren's second birthday and they are enjoying the utensils.

The reason I would not recommend this is because it is too distracting and toddler wants to play but not eat.

My son is autistic and has sensory issues regarding food and utensils. He tried the spoon and pusher at his therapy and he absolutely loved it.. he didn't care about his sticky fingers so we bought the entire set for home... he enjoys playing with the food which is a huge step!!! I recommend this highly because my baby is finally holding utensils and having fun!

My little nephew, Jackson...loves all things related to construction. He is only two...but the mere sight of a construction vehicle...stops him in his tracks. He is never without a little truck in his little hands. His 2nd birthday was a " construction theme " party...and Little Jack became " Foreman Jack "...for a brief moment in time. But I am sure during his imaginary play throughout his day...he is the owner of the construction company & it's fleet of construction vehicles! His mother informed me he loves his construction utensils & construction plate. On a personal note as a American citizen...I buy only " USA Made " for all gifts I purchase. This was my initial point of interest...and the fact that it is such a well made, creative toy...I could not be happier. Sincerely, Angela Kasten' Ceeminara

Two sets of eating utensils purchased for niece's twin boys, age 2. They were just starting to use forks and spoons, so this was a great time to introduce this product. She said they took to them right away. She also said they were made well, seemed sturdy for active boys, and was very pleased with the gifts.

Three year old loves this! All meals now have to be served with the construction eating utensils! The plate made this even better. Buy both !!

My grandson just loves these. It has finally gave him an interest to stop using his fingers and try to use a fork and spoon. The pusher makes it more fun and so much easier for him as well. I think it makes a great gift, especially if you are having a family meal together.

Utensils rubber wheels and base do not slide over plates, but catch and hold utensils from moving smoothly on surfaces for young children learning to use fork and spoons.

The grandkids enjoy using these. Other kids who visit like them too.

These are so much fun. If you have more than one child, the set can be divided between them so everybody is a little happier. The bulldozer is a creative addition that helps the other utensils get the work of feeding your child done. We have had our first set for three years and want to share the love with family this Christmas. These could work well as stocking stuffers.

We bought both the orange "construction" plate and the package of three utensils for our grandson. He doesn't like to sit in his high chair for dinner and screams to get down, not allowing the adults to eat. He loves these utensils and will actually eat a little bit of dinner. Then he will play with them, pushing food around, which buys the adults a bit of time to finish eating. The pushing utensil helps him get food onto his fork or spoon, and since they resemble vehicles, he is more willing to
