The cape was shipped directly to my granddaughter for her birthday and as soon as it was opened, my DIL sent a pic of granddaughter coloring it. She has been wearing it around the house pretending to be a superhero-princess-fairy. If your child enjoys coloring, then I would highly recommend.

My 4 year old granddaughter is avid about coloring and this was a big hit as a canvas. I think she will need another year of growth to feel comfortable wearing it. In the meantime...she loves to watch it come alive with color.

The cape was an enormous hit! Both my granddaughter, aged 4 and my grandson, aged 8, sat down next to each other and with great enthusiasm discussed what colors to use where and colored half the designs, stopping because of dinner. The next morning they colored in most of the other designs. The cape itself is well made. The silvery trim and satin look lovely, and the side which is used for coloring is on a material which is comfortable to wear. The neck closure is an easy velcro and there is enough room to go around clothing without making the neck tight. When my granddaughter put it on she announced that she was Supergirl. I am sure it will be used for lots of fantasy play this year!

4 year girl loved this as a birthday present!

I bought this for my granddanughter's 5 th birthday. She loved it! The markers looked bright and she enjoyed making her masterpiece come alive. The velcro to attach the cape is functional for putting it on. I definitely recommend!end!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality & durability

My niece loved coloring this cape! We haven't washed it yet so I don't know about that part yet.

I haven't had the chance yet to give them to my granddaughters; they are 3 and 5 years old. However, when we receive we thought that they were lovely. The satin lining is an excellent idea. Anything Fairy or Princess is perfect for my beauties! My daughter saw them online and she said that they were perfect. I've been ordering items from Fat Brain Toys since my first granddaughter was born. We recently played a game of tic tac toe with jumping chickens (I don't remember what it's called but it was a gift two years ago. I always look at Fat Brain Toys first.

It is a present so i don't know how the recipient will feel, but I love it! Its super fun and would be really great to decorate. I can't wait to give it! I like that she will have lots of control over how "girly" it is.

Wonderful toy, keeps them busy and they love to continue to wear it because they colored it.

Washable and can be colored over and over. The markers cover well and it is fun coloring the cape.

I bought this for my 5 yr old niece for a Christmas present. The quality was excellent. The fabric was sturdy and all the edges well finished. The size of the cape was substantial and fit her well. My niece is an exceptional artist. She imaged herself a character and began coloring right away. She liked being able design part of her imaginative play.

My 5 year old granddaughter, her brother and mother colored it together, and she was so excited she wore it to one of the church activities a couple of days later. Since it was a gift and we live far from them, I don't have direct knowledge of craftmanship.
