Coggy

I bought this for my son who's had a traumatic brain injury. He only played with it for a short time and I couldn't get him interested in it. My husband came home off the road (he's a truck driver) I showed it to him and he had conquered 3 of the challenges in about 30 minutes! I like playing with it also. Ive not got even one correct so far! lol I don't care. I still love bending it into different shapes. I'll probably buy another one so the I can have one and my husband can hav one in the semi while he stuck waiting. Thanks to the lady at Big Brain for showing and recommending this to me. ��

I have only used this with a few kids so far. The kids have found it challenging at first, but once I helped show them how to problem solve one, they loved the challenge! Great for executive functioning!!

Our grandson loves this! He likes games he can play with by himself.. very creative toy!

Grand daughter really loves this. She's teaching her younger brother how to play also.

My son just turned 9 and is a Hugh Rubik's cube fan. This Coggy was a similar challenge and equally entertaining for him but gave him something new to place with. He hasn't put it down since Xmas. Highly recommend.

My 12 year old has enjoyed engaging her puzzle-loving brain with Coggy. It is deceivingly simple and decidedly complex all at once. As she solves the puzzle cards, she has to reason through how she can configure the Coggy into that shape. She's loving it!

It was looked at with "what is this"? Once opened and she began to play with the Coggy her eyes opened wide and was excited to try and match the colors and designs.

Coggy is an educational and tactile toy. Besides bending and just fidgeting with it, this grandpa found it challenging to repeat some of the projects and I felt smarter after. Grand is getting better at it.

This gift was for two boys ages 8 & 10. They love it. It's a total brain tease. If they could just get it away from their dad!

I had this sent directly to the recipient so never saw it in person, but have talked with the mom of this child and he loves it. It's still in one piece !

We love products that can be easily taken in the car, to a restaurant, used at your sister's dance recital, etc. so that was the initial draw to this product. It does fit in my purse quite nicely so we've taken it everywhere. We also love a good brain bender and this fits the bill. However, the pieces are SO HARD to manipulate. This was purchased for my 7 yo son and he gets frustrated trying to move the pieces into their correct spot to solve the puzzle. The puzzles themselves are fun and engaging, but I usually have to take over to get the chain to move correctly. This is my only complaint (although kind of a big one bc it has turned him off from wanting to do it).

I thought it looked cool so I bought it for my 7 year old. The cogs were very hard to bend around. She really didn't like it. She tried it once and hasn't picked it up again. She asked me what she is supposed to do with it. I took Amit and tried it myself. Not smooth at all the hinges are super tight.

Great toy, sturdy and portable. Wonderful for restaurant waits. Lots of options for entertainment. Perfect for 12 y.o. on the spectrum.

It doesn't move as easily as I imagined and I'm worried that if it gets twisted, it will break.

The toy was given to a 5 year boy who played with it right away, but several other family members, ages 10, 12, and adult also enjoyed it.
