Our 6 year old grandson LOVES his books!

Because "Choose Your Own Adventure" books hold fond childhood memories for our (now adult) sons, they were recently purchased for our seven year old twin grandsons. Frankly, they are too young to be caught up in the decision process that makes these books so enjoyable.

This is nothing like I thought it would be when I read the description. I thought it would be interesting for an 8-year-old to make up his own ending but the book is not at all like that.

Bought for my 6 year old granddaughter to read together and is just as remembered when my kids and I enjoyed them! Interesting story lines - I think 3rd grade reading level is accurate - with all the choices to make as you read. Story length is good and choices are frequent to hold interest. Very happy with the purchase!

Bought this for my grandson, who was visiting , and we had a birthday celebration. Because the gifts had to be hauled from southern Wisconsin to Minnesota....didn't want to choose anything too big. This was a hit ! As he read with his Dad, Grandpa and Grandma enjoyed listening to the their debate about which choice to make. When they visit, and the adults are busy with meal prepping, ball games, or just conversation, books help the young ones keep occupied , and this was a fun alternative to a standard book!

I gave these books to my grandson for Christmas and he loves them. He finished the first book immediately and went back to read it again. He really enjoyed being able to build his own story. This is an amazing product and I'm so glad I bought it. I've already decided to buy him the next set. These would be a great gift for a girl or boy.

We have now read them repeatedly trying to get to end of the book. It's fun from a parent perspective since the story does change as the choices change. Very fun for everyone.

My grandson LOVES to be read to from these books. He enjoys being able to make up a new story each time he reads from them. These books are an awesome idea for reading to children and encouraging them to read for themselves

My precocious grandson received this for his 7th birthday. Because his father loved these books when he was a boy, I thought my grandson might too. He could hardly put them down!! And he has already exhausted almost all the possibilities in combining outcomes so with his birthday money, he has ordered the 2nd series of these books!

My son got out sticky notes so he could better track the paths.

The concept of these books is wonderful; it encourages kids to use their imagination and think along alternative paths. My problem is that, based on the website's recommendation that it was best suited for 7 year olds, I purchased the books. When I got them, I quickly realized that most 7-year olds would not be able to read many of the words in the book. I think they are gear more towards kids who are a couple of years older. I ended up buying something else for the 7 year old I had in mind for

Bought this adventure books for my grandsons, ages 4 and 6. They are enjoying reading the stories with their parents and making up the endings. This stimulates creativity and is good preparation for the writing process.

Bought for my 10 yr old grandson for Xmas. Very excited to receive the set as he can pick out his own endings and he has to ready for 20 minutes a night and keep a long for school which counts toward his grade. i feel it was a great value and well worth it. As promised I received the set on time and in good condition.

She loves to read, but what a way to keep staying involved in a story, to see all the different ways it can unfold!

Bought these for my 8 year old twin boys. It's a Christmas present, so they have not read them yet, but I loved these books as a child and am excited for them to read them all.
