The book is very cute but I returned it because I found it wasn't applicable to my disabled granddaughter who will be the big sister. I hadn't even thought of this being an issue when I purchased the book. The book pictures many things that "big sisters do". My granddaughter, who will be almost 3 when the baby is born cannot do most of these things, and some of them she may never be able to do. The book talks about big sisters hearing the baby cry, eating cupcakes, and turning cartwheels. My granddaughter is deaf, uses a g-tube, and has motor issues. We are hopeful that she will be able to eventually eat and walk but probably not until she is at least 5 or 6 years old. There is nothing wrong with the book as it is, it just doesn't meet our needs. I tried searching for big sister/brother books for disabled children and have not found any yet, so may need to think about writing one myself. We have found many other Fat Brain toys that have been wonderful for her and are very happy with th

This book made the perfect gift from our newborn to our toddler. It is so sweet and helps our toddler understand how to be a good big sister.

The book big sisters are the best was a simple to understand straight forward book that my two-year-old granddaughter enjoyed reading. The pictures had friendly characters and were interesting to her.

The story line is very simple and shows the big sister the new baby is not a threat. There is still plenty of love and time in mom and dad's day for big sister and baby. Help's promote love for the new baby and not jealousy.

This product is a little book. It is perfect for a very young child who is going to be a big sister soon. It talks about how the baby gets a bottle, but I get a cupcake, the baby sleeps in a crib, and I have a 'big girl' bed....and other similar things. It also says that I still get special time with my parents, too. It's a cute book, and I think it will be helpful. Our family's little girl loves books and loves to have someone read to her, so this will get daily use, maybe more often than just once a day. As soon as she opened the box, she brought her book to me so I could read it to her.

Our daughter (18 months) loves this book! She is going to be a big sister in June & after reading this book to her, she has taken her baby doll everywhere with her. She genuinely seems excited about having a little sister coming soon - awesome book with content that is age appropriate.

The content of the book is cute. It would be great if there were a more sturdy board book version.

My two year old loves it. She related right away with the big sister and lived what big side did in the book.

Our girl loves books but sometimes she just isn't interested in one we think is sweet or fun. She won't let us read this one to her yet but when she does I'm sure she'll love it. I thought the story was one of the better big sibling books I've seen.

It's a very sweet book about how great it is to be an older sister. The illustrations are attractive and the book is a nice size for little hands.
